I'm glad we finally got some depth to Annie's character aside from aloof and somewhat sadistic femme fatale. Still enjoying the fact that Paradis really is divided on how they feel about Eren and the Rumbling but a little bummed we're not getting a good look at Eren. I can't help feel like that could happen because history repeats itself. Also there's Floch, still carrying on with this Yaegerist stuff and Eldian Empire ideals.ĭoes anyone else think that if Floch has it his way, the non Eldians that remain in Paradis (the volunteers who would essentially be refugees) would be treated as 2nd class citizens. Also Shadis, telling the recruits who initially joined the Yaegersits, to go along with it and them potentially cause an uprising later on when the opportunity presents itself.
This reminded me of season 4 part 1 where some civilians were protesting against Eren being detained, painting him as a hero to the Eldian Empire.
In the building were there were injured people, we saw the civilians arguing over whether they supported Eren or not because of the casualties. One thing that might be overlooked is the political side of things. And the best thing: HANGE AND LEVI ARE BACK. Idk if Connie will actually try to feed Falco to his mom, he just is too good of a guy to kill a kid imo. Armin said that Mikasa should decide for herself and not follow everyone around.
Armin's conversation with Mikasa was great for two reasons:ġ.Armin pointed out how absolutely fucked up everything isĢ. Even though I understand Floch and think he's really well written, I can't help but hate this motherfucker, the entire time I hoped that someone would just shoot him, multiple times. I like the way Annie explained her lack of remorse after killing shows how the brainwashing affected different people a little bit differently: Reiner is so torn apart that he developed two different personalities and ended up depressed, Annie lost all respect for human life and Bert was silently taking the remorse in but actually gave up and decided he should finish what Marley made him start.
